What conditions may qualify for medical marijuana?
Florida law lets physicians certify patients who have a qualifying condition. These include cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV or AIDS, PTSD, ALS, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis. The law also covers a terminal condition, chronic nonmalignant pain, and other conditions a physician judges to be comparable. Many patients also come to us for help with anxiety, insomnia, and muscle spasms.
The only way to know for sure is to talk it through with a doctor, and that is exactly what your evaluation is for.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a valid Florida ID or driver's license. If you have medical records, a diagnosis, or a list of the medications you take, bring those too, since they help the physician understand your history. If you do not have records handy, come anyway. We can still talk through your health and figure out the next steps.
How long does a visit take?
Most visits run about 30 to 45 minutes. We do not rush. Your physician takes the time to review your history, answer your questions, and explain what happens after you leave. If you qualify, you can usually finish everything the same day.
Is my visit confidential?
Yes. Every visit is private and your records are protected under HIPAA. What you share with your physician stays between you and the clinic. We built this practice around trust, and that starts with keeping your information secure.
Do you offer same day appointments?
We do. Most patients are seen, evaluated, and certified on the same day they come in. Call ahead at (407) 713-6010 and we will find a time that works, often for that same day.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The visit is a flat $150, whether it is your first evaluation, a follow up, or a renewal. We accept common payment methods at the front desk. There are no package tiers and no hidden fees, so the price you see is the price you pay.
